Mining Engineer (Open cast coal mine) - Delhi Experience: 7 - 10 years Qualification: BE/B.Tech ( Mining) Key Skills: mining, open cast coal mine, safety audits, coal mining, extraction Job Description: Co-ordination with Quality Control Department. For day to day, weekly and monthly raw material supply demand Manpower planning, skill inventory control and regulating distribution of manpower resources for various mining and plant activities Organizing Drilling and Blasting Programes, measuring Ground vibrations levels and ensuring safety compliance in mines and nearby villages Optimizing productivity through assessment of equipment performance, optimum deployment of mining equipment, minimizing cost of operations, Drilling and blasting cost etc. Preparation of Mining Plan and Mining Scheme for next few years, developing conceptual mine plan and reviewing its compliance on the ground, site modification etc Hands on Knowledge of modern mine planning and scheduling software systems Using various techniques to determine the best method of mining & planning. Handling projects starting from identification of potential block, to planning and exploiting the same. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, Mining Research Organizations, contractors, clients, shareholders, corporate managers, state and central government agencies. Creating effective procedures for the preparation and implementation of programs within the area of industrial safety, security and the environment in plant. Directing, leading and motivating workforce; imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency. Job specification: Must have Coal Mining & Extraction experience preferably in the private sector. Must have hands on experience in Conducting Safety Audits & Risk Assessment; implementing Safety Management Systems.
