Quality Assurance Engineer Experience: 3 - 4 years experience (at least 1-2 years in QA/QC) in the construction or engineering industry Qualification: Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering Description:  Knowledge of ISO 9000 series Management System.  Experience in developing and implementing Project Specific Management Plans and Procedures, ITP’s and other Quality documents.  Should be able to monitor implementation of Quality Plans through regular internal audits and have the expertise to establish, control and maintain documentation of projects as well as report on Quality System Implementation status.  A Qualified Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor would be preferable.  Experience in a Multi-National company using Company Policies and Procedures  Facilitating the development, operation, maintenance and inspection requirements of the project QA, Safety and Environmental Plans.  Audit/Monitor QA Systems for compliance and effectiveness.  Assess subcontractor/supplier QA/QC arrangements for compliance with contract requirements.  Provide Quality Inductions to new JV personnel and suppliers/subcontractors acquaint section personnel with QA requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them.  Ensure QA records are produced and stored in a readily retrievable manner.  Review Project Plans to suit contract requirements.  Ensure suppliers/subcontractors/consultants comply with company policies and procedures.  Proven ability to organize and prioritise tasks, be proactive and professional in approach with a high degree of self motivation, initiative and strong communications, negotiation and interpersonal skills. • Preparation of Inspection and Test plan in accordance with project inspection requirement, code and standards. • Initiate improvements on QA/QC programs as deemed necessary to suit project requirement and ease of implementation. • Act honestly and with integrity at all times • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Company’s Management system. • Other duties as required.
