General Manager - Finance [Mumbai] Experience:15 - 17 years Qualification: CA Key Skills: Funds and cash flow management.Bank re-conciliation and international banking, A Job Description: To review and consolidate monthly operational results in order to ensure all businesses are meeting their KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), business plans, and respective forecasts. To consolidate and review the statutory accounts in order to satisfy parent company and local statutory requirements. Funds and cash flow management. Bank re-conciliation and international banking operations. Variance accounting and MIS reporting. To assist the General Manager Acquisitions and Mergers to evaluate the risk and returns for new businesses and acquisition prospects, and to structure the deal to ensure the accounting and taxation compliance to Leighton requirements. To review all projects (through site visits and review of operating and financial reports) in order to ensure the General Manager and Project Teams meet their performance objectives. To review the Divisions operating and financial reports (including overhead and forecasted new work) in order to ensure the Divisions achieves their business plans and KPIs. To strategize, develop, maintain and ensure compliance for the financial management systems (procedures, policies, guidelines and tools) in order to obtain reliable accurate and timely information. To structure management (management of financial and accounting framework) and financials (financial and accounting framework) IN ORDER TO meet the business plan, legal statutory and taxation requirements. Job specification: Working experience in the construction or engineering industry will be preferred. Should have managed a geographically diverse finance and accounting function in a large organization.
