| Mechanical Applications Engineer, Process Industry- Mumbai, India • Global Process Plant & Equipment Manufacturer • Excellent Career Opportunity • Attractive Remuneration Package Our client is a Global Multi-National Corporation that manufactures and supplies high-technology and speciality equipment and components to major industries like, chemical processing, power generation and transmission, water treatment and aerospace applications. With their ever increasing order-book and global expansion, they seek a Mechanical Applications Engineer for their office in Mumbai. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager your responsibilities will include applications engineering in relation to fit for purpose assessments and equipment selection for specific client needs whilst also being intimately involved in the development and presentation of technical proposals. This will include your involvement in the technical aspects of sales presentations, quotations and technical and commercial negotiations. You will also need to manage and support the respective agents and distributors on technical queries and support the key account management strategies of the company. You can also expect to participate in site/field visits where you will be involved in the inspection and testing of equipment and analysis of client needs. You must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with up to 5 years of relevant work experience within the process industries. This experience may involve Design or Project Engineering where you have been involved in the sizing and specification of plant and equipment, or alternatively you may be an experienced Applications Engineer seeking a change. You must possess excellent communication skills (must be conversant in English), enjoy meeting and working with people, possess a good customer service ethic and be able to work independently. You must be willing to travel within the region as and when needed. Excellent remuneration and benefits package in addition to overseas training awaits the right candidate.
