| J2EE Architect Employee Type: FULLTIME Location: Hyderabad, India Title: J2EE Architect Skills: JAVA, J2EE, EJB, ESB, TCP/IP protocols and Ethernet networking technology, Hibernate, Middleware technologies, Webservices , SOA, ANT, Maven, XML, SQL, UML , Design patterns, Web logic, Web sphere Job description: The primary responsibility of this position is to design and development of large-scale application. Apply software design principles in researching, designing, and developing framework. The Architect will have a solid understanding of open source and mainstream technologies powering all aspects of Web application development, database architecture, software code development and component integration. May coordinate the activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. LIST OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Architect and deploy solution delivery for assigned projects. * Assess, prototype, and recommend new technologies and services. * Design and develop standard frameworks * Instill best practices across all development efforts. * Assist in resource planning and allocation. * Interact and coordinate activities with IT staff to facilitate appropriate interfaces and integration across technologies. * Document activities with appropriate software inventory records, version control procedures, systems design, process documentation and other generally accepted IT practices for management of software environment. REQUIREMENTS * A minimum of nine years experience. Experience must include multi-tiered JAVA enterprise application development and object orientation. * Experience designing and deploying Enterprise Software Applications. * Experience in designing frameworks if required. * Experience in using tools like Rational, Visio for UML diagrams and other documentation * Experience in various SDLC models like waterfall, Agile etc. * Must have the experience, ability and training to work across multiple information technologies to provide solutions to complex business problems, i.e., Oracle databases, JSP, Application servers, development frameworks such as J-BOSS, STRUTS, Hibernate. * Must be passionate about technology and is abreast of the latest technologies in use. * Excellent application development skills with tools like Java, JSP/Servlets, EJBs, XML, Hibernate & the like. * Strong object oriented programming skills. * Experience on middleware technologies like TIBCO, WebMethods, BEA is a plus. * Demonstrated skills in design deployment and tuning required. * Should be an independent thinker and self starter. * Demonstrated capacity for embracing change and learning new technologies. * Good relationship skills required. * Demonstrated work ethic and communication skills; understanding of quality principles, continuous learning, customer focus, and teamwork and partnering skills. | |
