| Front - End Ninja A Pune based creative start up is seeking a top-notch Front-End Ninja to join its growing, tight-knit team. The successful candidate will be passionate about turning designs into pixel perfect XHTML/CSS markup, relying on JavaScript libraries like jQuery to enhance the user experience. We offer challenging work, a fun team, competitive pay and an opportunity for enormous growth. We are looking for someone who: * Can translate designs into interactive interfaces with hand-coded, semantic, cross-browser compliant XHTML and CSS, maintaining designer’s aesthetic vision. * Adheres to Web standards, best practices and usability guidelines. * Can write unobtrusive JavaScript by hand that utilizes libraries like jQuery. * Is a team player. The successful candidate has excellent written and communication skills, incredible focus and attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast progressing environment. * Is self-motivated, and able to multi-task. * Is Smart, Fun and Gets things Done. * Has 2+ years of development experience. We’ll have more fun if you have: * Prior experience with complex, consumer facing websites. * Experience with source/version control software would be a plus. * Working knowledge of HAML/SASS/Ruby on Rails would be a definite plus.
