| Sr.Development Manager : ERP R&D Global Company , BNGLR One of our client (ERP Global Product Based Company) has an immediate requirement for Development Manager for their Bangalore location. TITLE: DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Responsibilities Manage a highly motivated and skilled development team. Collaborate with teams across multiple locations for planning and operational activities. Organize development activities in order to assure delivery in time, in scope and in quality. Set priorities and act as a mentor in professional software development. Educational Qualifications, Skills and Competencies. Strong educational qualifications (Engineering majors from reputed institutes) with 10-15 years of relevant experience, at least 2 years of management experience. In-depth programming knowledge, i.e. should have been a software developer for some years. Must have previous experience in leading 7-8 member development teams. Exposed to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as customer support experience. Exposure to agile development methodologies like SCRUM. Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of commitment and responsibility. Experience in being part of large-scale software development projects, distributed across geographical locations. Desired experience in hiring and ramping up new team members, as well as in goal setting and performance evaluations. Experience in development of larger JAVA, J2EE, JSP, XML, WebServices, Struts or ABAP based applications - product development preferred. Good RDBMS, OS concepts (Windows, Linux) and storage systems (SAN, NAS). Knowledge about virtualization and hypervisor technology such as VMware. Experience in operating large system landscapes.
