Lawyer - Immigration •Overseeing and managing all immigration cases from India to the UK and Australia •Liaising (via telephone, face to face, in writing and via email) with Indian solicitors •Liaising with immigration officials, bank officials, notaries, employers etc on specific immigration cases •Liaising with UK and Australia based solicitors and barristers •Liaison with management in the UK •Preparing management reports in agreed format •Maintaining immaculate paper and computer records for all cases •Leading, directing and monitoring the adherence to operational standards, rules and regulations for each immigration case; •Have the ability to explain the service, the company pedigree, benefits, explain contract, negotiate commercials and close sale with customers. •Dealing with customer issues; •Briefing customers on the steps involved in the process; helping to prepare customers for immigration interviews; ensuring that customers have all paperwork prepared ready for immigration interviews to the required standards. •Achievement of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Candidate profile •Quaified Lawyer with expertise in immigration, •Very strong English and Punjabi written and verbal skills •IT literate •Thoroughly familiar with Microsoft office (particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint) •Excellent administration skills, •Very good telephone skills, •Good coaching and mentoring skills to nurse clients through the immigration process •Strong interpersonal skills •Methodical •Able to learn quickly •Able to multi task and work under pressure (must be able to manage personal activities, priorities and commitments in order to achieve the targets set by management). •Ambitious •Due to the nature of the role, the candidate should have an aptitude for solving problems and have excellent communication skills
