| OPERATIONS MANAGER Based in our Mumbai office, this position is overall responsible for day to day operations of the LLC and catering units across India, ensuring correct loading of products and dispatch of vehicles according to company and customers’ specifications Responsibilities: • Responsible for the overall on time delivery performance of the operation. • Responsible for strategic decisions in cases of delayed aircraft departure to ensure that customer requirements or amended requirements are at all times fully met. • Ensure timely and accurate submission of required data, KPIs and reports to MD, and DivHQ • Responsible for staff recruitment including interviews and selection processes and performance evaluation for the process owner level of the business units. • Responsible for the overall security of the operation ensuring full compliance with local and state authorities, airline and company standards. • Ensure investigations and reports are done all accidents/incidents involving personnel, vehicles and property keeping with company and/or government regulations. • Responsible for managing company fleet and equipment. • Conducts regular meetings with operations in charge of the business units to review performance, find synergies, and maximise performance and productivity and recommends appropriate action. • Reviews procedures and work practices and recommends changes GM. Participates in the implementation of new systems and procedures striving to achieve best practice. • Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of basic hygiene standards including HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with these standards and policies at all times • Assist GM and NPS project to manage customer accounts • A major role in all projects start up for India Requirements: • At least 6 years of experience in airline catering operations in management/supervisory role • Good knowledge in airline and/or airline catering operations • Knowledge in LLC business modes preferred • Project Management • A potential leader of a catering unit • Positive, motivated, flexible and open minded • Customer orientated • Good networking and relations with local airline customers • Experience in lean projects in a manufacturing environment • Commercial understanding a plus • Effective organizational, analytical and communication skills • Good PC skills • Non discriminatory | |
